NBA Draft Prospects
2015 NBA Draft: Joseph Young
Basketball Insiders’ scouting report of Joseph Young.
Joseph Young – 6’2, 178 lbs. Shooting Guard (Oregon, Sr.)
Strengths: One of the most prolific scorers in basketball over the last three seasons. Deep range on his jump shot. Difficult to contain off the dribble. Quick.
Weaknesses: Too thin. Undersized for a shooting guard, may end up having to transition into being a point guard in order to truly stick, although he’ll always be a scorer first and foremost.
NBA Comparison: Monta Ellis
Draft range projection: Mid-to-late second round
