With the 23rd overall pick in the NBA Draft, the Oklahoma City Thunder have selected Darius Bazley from Princeton High School.

Bazley is probably the rawest selection out of everyone in the draft since the guy never played a minute in college. The athleticism and freakish wingspan – measured in at 7’0” – make him someone worth taking a flyer on.

It’s not just the physical tools that make him interesting. Bazley has shown that he can use his physical tools to make the right pass and can get up on the boards. If he is able to put it together, he can be a matchup nightmare in the NBA.

Because of his youth and unpolished abilities, you should expect him in the G League for most of the season. Even so, since the Thunder seem to house nothing but pure athletes these days, Darius should feel right at home in Oklahoma City.
