The Philadelphia 76ers acquired a second-round draft pick from the New York Knicks in 2019 and forward Travis Outlaw in exchange for forward Arnett Moultrie on Monday.

Outlaw and Moultrie were immediately waived by their new teams.

Additionally, the 76ers acquired the right to swap the Los Angeles Clippers’ second-round pick (which the Sixers currently own) in 2018 with the Knicks’ own second-round pick in that draft.

The Knicks made the deal to keep forward Travis Wear. The rookie played his way onto New York’s roster with a strong training camp after going undrafted this summer out of UCLA.

The 76ers also signed free agent forward Malcolm Thomas.

Thomas is entering his fourth NBA season, having been named an NBA Development League All-Star last season, while averaging 18.3 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.33 blocks in 12 combined games for Los Angeles and Austin. In 2011-12, Thomas earned All-NBA D-League First Team and All-Defensive First Team honors.

Philadelphia set its season-opening roster by waiving guards Marquis Teague and Elliot Williams.

Teague, 21, split last season between the Chicago Bulls and the Brooklyn Nets, averaging 2.7 points, 1.5 assists and one rebound per game. He was acquired by Philadelphia last week along with a 2019 second-round draft pick in exchange for guard Casper Ware, whom the Nets immediately waived.

Williams, 25, appeared in 67 games for the 76ers last season, averaging 3.7 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.3 assists.
