Portland All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge will be out a minimum of one week due to a left groin strain, the Trail Blazers announced Tuesday.
In addition, reserve center Meyers Leonard will miss two to three weeks due to a sprained left ankle, according to the team.
He figures to miss three home games, Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs, Friday against the Utah Jazz and Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Aldridge scored four points and grabbed five rebounds in 13 minutes Sunday during the All-Star Game in New Orleans. On the season, he is averaging 23.9 points (seventh in the NBA) and 11.4 rebounds.
According to the Oregonian, Aldridge first injured his groin Feb. 8, though he continued to play through the ailment up to the All-Star break.
When Aldridge sits out his first game, the Blazers will lose their distinction as the only team in the league to utilize the same starting lineup the entire season.
Leonard averages 2.7 points and three rebounds per game.
