BOISE, Idaho — Firmly on the NCAA tournament at-large bubble, Boise State took care of business against Nevada, overwhelming the Wolf Pack from start to finish while scoring a 78-46 win on Saturday.
The Broncos (20-7, 10-4 Mountain West) took control early, racing to a 22-6 lead and posting an 18-point advantage at halftime.
Sophomore forward James Webb III led the way with 22 points on 9-of-11 shooting. He was 4 of 4 from the 3-point line as Boise State shot 56.6 percent, including 10 of 23 (43.5 percent) from 3-point range.
Senior guard Derrick Marks added 18 points and seven assists on 8-of-12 shooting.
Nevada (8-18, 4-10) was without starting point guard Marqueze Coleman and backup forward Kaileb Rodriguez, who were both suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules. Neither made the trip.
Sophomore guard D.J. Fenner led the Wolf Pack with 13 points. Junior guard Tyron Criswell added nine and junior center AJ West had six points and nine rebounds.
Nevada shot 36.5 percent (19 of 52) and hit just 1 of 12 from 3-point distance.
