Quick: Over Cap. Deep in tax. 22nd Pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

Exceptions: None

Acquisitions: Re-signed Deron Williams for $98.7 million over five years. Re-signed Gerald Wallace on a 4-yr, $40 million deal. Re-signed Brook Lopez on a 4-yr, $60.8 million deal (last year player option). The Nets have also acquired Joe Johnson from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Jordan Williams, Jordan Farmar, Anthony Morrow, Johan Petro, DeShawn Stevenson and the Houston Rockets’ protected 2013 pick. Additionally Reggie Evans was acquired from the Los Angeles Clippers for the right to swap second-rounders in 2016. Evans starting salary is $1.622 million ($5.09 million over three years), absorbed by the Shawne Williams TPE. The team has also signed Mirza Teletovic for the Mini Mid-Level Exception over three years. The original agreement was for the MLE but given that would have locked the Nets into a hard cap, Teletovic was willing to take the lower scale. Re-signed Kris Humphries to a two-year, $24 million deal. Also signed CJ Watson, rookie TyShawn Taylor, Keith Bogans and Jerry Stackhouse to minimum deals. Signed rookie Tornike Shengelia (54th pick, acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers) to a two-year, $1.3 million deal. Inked both Andray Blatche and Josh Childress on one-year, partial/non-guaranteed deals. Signed Stephen Dennis, Carleton Scott and James Mays to one-year, partial/non-guaranteed contracts. Picked up third-year option on MarShon Brooks. Fired Coach Avery Johnson. Signed Damion James to a 10-day contract. Signed Kris Joseph to a 10-day contract and then a two-year deal (second season partial/non-guaranteed).
