Few league observers expected (Jason) Kidd would leave Brooklyn to coach the Bucks, the team with the worst record in the NBA last season.

But after one season as coach of a veteran Nets team, Kidd bolted New York to take over a rebuilding project in Milwaukee under new owners Wes Edens and Marc Lasry.

(Said Kidd:)”You hear about the buzz of the Bucks. When you have new ownership that’s going to be aggressive about trying to put a contender together and young talent that’s going to take the floor, there’s a lot of reason to be excited.”
