The Cleveland Cavaliers signed guard Seth Curry to a 10-day contract and released forward Shane Edwards from his 10-day contract Friday.

Curry averaged 19.4 points, 5.9 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 35.2 minutes in 36 games (35 starts) for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League this season.

Curry was originally signed by the Golden State Warriors in August 2013 as an undrafted free agent out of Duke. After the Warriors waived him Oct. 25, he was signed by the Memphis Grizzlies in December and waived in January. He played one game for Memphis.

Curry will be available for Saturday night’s game against the Houston Rockets.
