LeBron James might have already switched into his so-called playoff mode, but that doesn’t mean Cleveland Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue is going to lean on his star player like the Cavs are already in the postseason.
Lue told reporters he will rest James on Tuesday when Cleveland hosts the Houston Rockets, sitting James out amid a hot streak. He was named the Eastern Conference player of the week Monday, as he has averaged 29 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.5 assists in his past four games. “Not too many chances and opportunities to rest one game and have four days off, so I thought it was a good opportunity to rest him,” Lue said.
