CBS basketball analyst and former NBA player Greg Anthony was arrested Friday and charged with soliciting a prostitute.

Anthony, 47, was arrested by District of Columbia police and released Friday night. Solicitation is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 180 days in jail.

Anthony was suspended indefinitely by CBS following his arrest.

“Greg Anthony will not be working again for CBS this season,” CBS said in a statement Saturday.

Anthony had been scheduled to announce the Michigan State-Maryland basketball game Saturday afternoon in College Park, Md.

Anthony played 11 seasons in the NBA from 1991-2002.
