Although (Channing) Frye had not done on-court work with the Cavaliers prior to Monday’s game against the Pistons, he will quickly adjust to whatever role coach Tyronn Lue gives to him going forward, starting with tonight’s game against the Charlotte Hornets in Cleveland.
“I’m just trying to fit in, just going in working in with the guys and just letting them know, figure out what they like to do, how to get them open, how to create space for the guys,” Frye said. “The ball didn’t go in today, but they’re encouraging. Oh for two from three’s not bad. If I shoot another eight, I’ll take my chances.”

Magic Johnson Subpoenaed to Testify in Green Lawsuit
Magic Johnson has been subpoenaed as a witness in a civil lawsuit accusing Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green of assault, according to court documents obtained by the Detroit Free Press.
Johnson, the Los Angeles Lakers’ president of basketball operations, and Green both played basketball for Michigan State, and the plaintiff played football at MSU.
