Glen Rice Jr. Joins Wizards from D-League

The Wizards have recalled rookie swingman Glen Rice Jr. after an impressive three-game stint in the NBA Development League with the Iowa Energy. He joined the team on Tuesday in Oakland, Calif., but will be inactive when the Wizards take on the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.

Rice was sent down the D-League for a rehabilitation assignment while recovering from a broken right wrist. Based on his production, Rice’s wrist appears to be fine as he averaged 24.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.7 blocks and two steals.
