Is There A Market For Moe Harkless?
The Orlando Magic have had several calls on swingman Maurice Harkless, but sources close to the situation say the Magic have a steep asking price (a first-round pick or talented young player) for Harkless, even though he’s only logged time in 27 games this year and is posting career lows in virtually every category.
Harkless has spent the All-Star break in Los Angeles working with noted skills trainer Cody Toppert, running two-a-day workouts to try to get himself back into serious playing shape.
The Magic have told Harkless he’ll get an opportunity, but it’s also clear that other teams are trying to poach him away from Orlando as well.
