Joe Jackson’s agent says it would be a good fit, and not just because Jackson is a hometown favorite.
The former University of Memphis guard will work out for the Grizzlies at FedExForum on Friday. It’s the second of four pre-draft workouts with NBA teams over the next six days for Jackson.
“I know Memphis is saying they have a lot of interest in him. They’ve been saying from Day 1 that they were going to bring him in,” Jackson’s agent, Charles Briscoe, said. “I know he could be a good change-of-pace guard behind (Mike) Conley. They need a backup point guard.”
