Joel Embiid wanted the ball down the stretch and the 76ers were happy to give it to him.

Embiid scored 16 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter and overtime to lead Philadelphia to its first victory of the season, 109-105 over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.

Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant, who sat out Sunday night’s 118-111 win over the Brooklyn Nets with a left ankle sprain, told ESPN’s Chris Haynes that he’s “not sure” whether he’ll be able to play Wednesday at Oklahoma City.

“I’m just going to take it day by day and see how it progresses,” Durant said before the game.

Lee, 34, played for 12 years, finishing last season with the Spurs. He averaged 7.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 79 games for San Antonio.

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Isaiah Thomas participated in full-court five-on-zero offensive drills Sunday, marking the first time he has practiced with his teammates in that manner since he was acquired from the Boston Celtics in a trade involving Kyrie Irving in August.

Thomas, who is still recovering from a torn labrum in his right hip, told Cleveland.com that Sunday was the “hardest I’ve run” during the rehabilitation process and he “felt good for the most part” afterward.
