Kings’ Cousins Brushes Off Security Guard Matter
Right before halftime of the Sacramento Kings’ 86-80 win over the Knicks on Sunday, Cousins and teammate Rajon Rondo were talking to officials when a Madison Square Garden security guard walked into Cousins and put his hand on Cousins’ back.
Cousins, who appeared surprised and slightly annoyed, brushed the guard off with his left arm. The security guard then walked in a different direction. Video of the incident quickly went viral. “Actually, I think he was trying to remove me from talking to some refs,” Cousins said after the game. “So he kind of put his hand on my back and tried to move me forward. It’s not really that big of an issue.”
