Knicks’ Quincy Acy Hampered by Strained Wrist
While the Knicks have had their share of serious injuries, one that has flown below the radar is the strained right wrist of power forward Quincy Acy. According to a source, he recently had a cortisone shot to relieve the pain.
Acy started at power forward in Minnesota on Wednesday but still is having trouble catching passes because of the wrist. He committed three turnovers — all on fumbling the ball, yet notched eight rebounds and nine points in 32:18. He has been ailing since preseason.
