I talked to @kobebryant after the Lakers game. He said he’s “disappointed” and “down” about having to miss at least another three weeks.

Here’s what Kobe told me about the pain: “”It’s like an internal swelling,” he said. “It’s different…It’s deep in there.”

Kobe on his expectations:  “I didn’t know what to expect,” Bryant said. “…I have no idea what it’s supposed to feel like. It’s tough.”

Kobe can ride the stationary bike. His thoughts on that? “I’m ready to throw the bike in the damn pool right about now.” he said.

Here’s what Kobe told me about his mindset: “Just trying to be patient, trying to be calm, just trying to take it a day at a time.” (Part 1)

Here’s what Kobe told me about his mindset: “W/ the Achilles, I couldn’t move at all. W/ this one, at least I can walk around a little bit.”
