Cleveland Cavaliers swingman Dahntay Jones had to stay away from the Air Canada Centre for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals Monday night while he served a one-game suspension for his punch to Toronto Raptors center Bismack Biyombo’s groin in Game 3.
But at least he won’t have to pay the fine associated with the suspension, a whopping $80.17, thanks to LeBron James. James told cleveland.com’s Joe Vardon on Monday that he would “take care” of the fine, which, in fairness, won’t even cost James his full per diem of $127.
