Orlando Magic shooting guard Victor Oladipo is expected to miss about a month because of a facial injury, Yahoo Sports reported.
Oladipo had successful surgery to repair a facial fracture on Saturday, according to the team.
If Oladipo misses a month, that would equate to the team’s first 16 games of the season.
Last season, Oladipo averaged 13.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists over 80 games last season.
Also, the Magic waived power forward Kadeem Batts and guards Drew Crawford, Seth Curry and Peyton Siva. The team’s roster is at 15 players.
