Carmelo Anthony is taking a triangle-or-bust attitude toward the team’s new triple-post offense under Phil Jackson and Derek Fisher. At least that was his message following the Knicks’ 81-76 loss to the Toronto Raptors in the team’s preseason opener at Madison Square Garden on Monday.

“I can’t really worry about what other people are worrying about, whether it works for me or not,” said Anthony, who finished with nine points on 4-of-6 shooting in 15 minutes against Toronto as the Knicks dropped to 1-2 this preseason. “I go out there and I don’t have a choice but to make it work. Whether it takes now or it takes later, we don’t have a choice but to make this work. I told you all early on, media day, I’m willing to take that chance to try to make it work and be patient with it.”
