Mo WIlliams Moving On From Trail Blazers?
By signing (Chris) Kaman the Blazers are now the fourth NBA team (others are Kings, Pacers and Warriors) to operate under a hard salary cap for the the 2014-15 season. It also means there is a good chance backup point guard Mo Williams won’t return. Williams declined his 2014-15 player option worth $2.77 million to seek a better deal as a free agent and the most he can get from Portland is a $3.18 million salary for this coming season. Williams will turn 32 in December and he’s likely seeking a salary in the $4-5 million range.
