LOS ANGELES — Guard J.J. Redick scored 20 points and the Los Angeles Clippers romped past the woeful New York Knicks 99-78 on Wednesday at the Staples Center.
Forward Blake Griffin had 13 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds as the Clippers (22-11) handed the Knicks (5-29) their ninth consecutive loss. They also beat New York for the fifth straight time.
Clippers center Deandre Jordan finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds in three quarters. Clippers reserve guard Jamal Crawford scored 13 points and surpassed Peja Stojakovic for ninth place on the career list for 3-pointers with a trey early in the fourth quarter.
Forward Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 19 points on 7-of-18 shooting from the field. No other New York player reached double figures.
Celtics 106, Kings 84
BOSTON — Ending a four-game losing streak, Boston cruised to a victory over sloppy Sacramento. The Celtics, 2-4 since sending their captain, Rajon Rondo, to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for three players, two draft picks and a trade exception, never trailed.
Celtics forward Jared Sullinger scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Guard Evan Turner, inserted into the starting lineup, dished out a career-high 11 assists to go with 10 points and six rebounds.
Kings forward DeMarcus Cousins, frustrated with the officiating throughout the game, received his second technical foul and an ejection for throwing Celtics rookie guard Marcus Smart to the floor with 7:31 left in the game. Cousins finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Pacers 106, Heat 95
INDIANAPOLIS — After scoring 15 in a row spanning the third and fourth quarters, Indiana maintained the momentum on the way to a win over Miami.
Guard C.J. Miles scored a game-high 25 to lead Indiana, and forward George Hill had 20. Guard C.J. Watson contributed 11 points, forward David West 10 and center Roy Hibbert had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Guard Dwayne Wade scored 20 points and forward Chris Bosh 18 for Miami which lost its third in a row and sixth in eight games. Forward Luol Deng scored 15.
