MINNEAPOLIS — The Golden State Warriors stretched their franchise-record winning streak to 13 games on Monday in a 102-86 defeat of the injury-depleted Minnesota Timberwolves.

Guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson each scored 21 points as the Warriors added another mark to their historic stretch with their eight consecutive road victory.

Minnesota, still without injured starters Kevin Martin, Nikola Pekovic and Ricky Rubio, didn’t have the firepower to overcome the NBA-leading Warriors (18-2). Shaky shooting and turnovers hounded both teams in the first half, but Golden State still gradually put the Timberwolves away in the final two quarters.

Rookie Andrew Wiggins’ 21 points, the second-highest scoring output of his career, wasn’t enough to help Minnesota avoid its sixth straight loss and ninth in 10 games.

Cavaliers 110, Nets 88

NEW YORK — Reserve guard Dion Waiters scored a season-high 26 points, and Cleveland stretched its winning streak to seven games with a victory over short-handed Brooklyn.

Forward LeBron James totaled 18 points and seven assists as the Cavaliers improved to 10-3 against Eastern Conference opponents. Forward Kevin Love added 19 points and 11 rebounds for his fifth straight double-double and 10th overall, helping Cleveland to a 55-33 advantage on the glass.

Kevin Garnett started at center in place of Brook Lopez (back) for the Nets and had 14 points and seven rebounds. Brooklyn also was without forward Joe Johnson (flu).

Hawks 108, Pacers 92

INDIANAPOLIS — Atlanta ran its winning streak to seven games — its longest since 2009 — with a rout of Indiana.

Center Al Horford scored 25 with eight rebounds for Atlanta, while guard Jeff Teague had 21 points and seven assists and played a major role in breaking open the game. Guard Kyle Korver scored 13 points and forward DeMarre Carroll 12 for the Hawks, who shot 51.9 percent and had 27 assists.

Indiana saw its losing streak extend to five games. Guards C.J. Miles and Rodney Stuckey scored 15 apiece for the Pacers.

Wizards 133, Celtics 132 (2 OT)

WASHINGTON — Guard John Wall scored 26 points, including 10 in a row in the second overtime, as Washington blew a 23-point lead in regulation before rallying in both extra sessions for a wild victory over Boston. Wall added a career-high 17 assists.

Washington forward Paul Pierce scored a season 28-points against his former team, and center Marcin Gortat had 21 points and 12 rebounds for the Wizards (14-6).

Forward Jeff Green led the Celtics with 28 points. Boston’s bench recorded 82 points, led by guard Marcus Smart with 23. Forward Brandon Bass and center Kelly Olynyk each scored 19 for the Celtics, who had won three straight.

Raptors 112, Nuggets 107 (OT)

TORONTO — Guard Lou Williams scored the go-ahead basket in overtime and had 26 points overall as Toronto defeated Denver.

The Raptors, who tied the game at 102-102 on a 3-pointer by forward Patrick Patterson to force the overtime, led by as many as 17 points before falling behind by five points late in the game.

Williams, who started the game on the bench, scored five points in overtime.

Patterson added 19 points, including five 3-pointers for Toronto, while center Jonas Valanciunas had 18 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Kyle Lowry scored 13 points, dished out 13 assists and grabbed eight rebounds for the Raptors.
