“We’re all on the same page,” general manager Sean Marks said at the Nets’ new practice facility in Brooklyn. “In talking to Mr. Prokhorov — he sat in, and he was right there interviewing Kenny (Atkinson) with me — he made it well clear that things were going to be done a little differently.”
“He’s given us (Sean Marks, coach Kenny Atkinson) the reins to build this thing our way, and if it takes some time, it does,” Marks said. “But we’ll be doing everything we can to turn this thing around quickly.”

Magic Johnson Subpoenaed to Testify in Green Lawsuit
Magic Johnson has been subpoenaed as a witness in a civil lawsuit accusing Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green of assault, according to court documents obtained by the Detroit Free Press.
Johnson, the Los Angeles Lakers’ president of basketball operations, and Green both played basketball for Michigan State, and the plaintiff played football at MSU.
