(Jeremy) Lin strained his left hamstring in the third, the same injury that forced him to miss 17 games earlier this season.
Lin landed awkwardly and limped to the line after he was fouled on a drive to the basket early in the third quarter.
But he didn’t run back down court after missing a reverse layup with about eight minutes left in the period, instead walking toward the bench to say he needed to come out.

Ben Simmons on NBA Debut: ‘It felt like I was playing 2K’
Ben Simmons finally made his long-awaited NBA regular-season debut against the Wizards in Washington on Wednesday night. And after his extended wait to wear the Philadelphia 76ers jersey in a meaningful game, he said he felt initially like he was in a video game.
“It felt like I was playing 2K, honestly,” Simmons said postgame.
“Just looking at Joel Embiid out there with the lights on his jersey. I was like, ‘man, I’m actually here.'”
Simmons was drafted with the first overall pick by the Sixers in the 2016 draft, but he missed the entire 2016-17 season while recovering from foot surgery to repair a Jones fracture. He suffered the injury on Sept. 30, 2016, less than a month before the start of the regular season. The Australian was originally expected to miss three months, but was eventually ruled out for the entire season.

Carmelo Anthony Felt ‘stabbed in the back’ by Knicks
As he prepares to face the New York Knicks for the first time since being traded, Thunder star Carmelo Anthony said Wednesday he felt “stabbed in the back” and “pushed out” by his old franchise.
Anthony will make his debut with the Thunder on Thursday night against the Knicks in Oklahoma City.
“I always envisioned myself coming back, even when I was being pushed out,” Anthony told reporters at the Thunder’s practice. “I think for me, I knew what was going on behind closed doors, I knew the talk that was happening. I just wanted them to come to me direct and say, ‘Look, this is what we’re thinking,’ and not have to read it or hear about it and then go to them and say, ‘What is this?’ If they felt that I just wanted them to be honest and direct.
“I think I was very honest and direct with them about wanting to be in New York, wanting to be on a winning team, wanting to have a good team. I was very honest with that. I just didn’t feel like they were honest with me.”
