Richmond suffered its second consecutive last-minute loss when Northeastern ended the game with an 11-2 run to stun the Spiders 58-57 on Wednesday at the Robins Center in Richmond Va.

The Spiders (7-6) took a 55-47 lead on a 3-pointer by guard ShawnDre’ Jones with 4:44 to play but went 0 of 5 from the field with a turnover the rest of the way.

Northeastern forward Reggie Spencer and guard David Walker hit back-to-back baskets to get the Huskies (8-4) within four. Guard Zach Stahl then made a layup to make the score 55-53 and a Spencer dunk with 1:30 left tied it.

Richmond guard Trey Davis missed a layup with 46 seconds left and Northeastern guard T.J. Williams knocked down a 3-pointer to put Northeastern up 58-55. Forward T.J. Cline missed a potential tying 3-pointer, with Davis scoring on a layup as time expired.

Guard Kendall Anthony had 18 points for Richmond, which led 35-22 at the half. The Spiders were coming off a 65-63 loss to Wake Forest on a last-second bucket in its last game.

Forward Terry Allen added 14 points and Davis finished with 10.

The Spiders struggled at the 3-point line for the second game in a row, making just 5 of 21.

Williams led all scorers with 20 points. Forward Quincy Ford finished with 12.
