Nuggets’ Malone Looking for Self-improvement in Coaching

“I think I have to be careful with such a young team that wanting to win and being competitive, I can’t allow that to affect my body language or my emotions in a negative manner,” (Nuggets coach Michael) Malone said in sit-down with The Denver Post. “I know when I played, it’s not fun playing for that. That’s been my biggest challenge: be competitive, be disciplined and hold guys accountable. But also find a way to let them know that I love them, and I care about them and I’m with them. That’s my challenge. I think I do a good job of that, but I definitely think I can do a better job of that.”
