(Nuggets guard Emmanuel) Mudiay is the first person to point out he has a lot to learn, and a wealth of knowledge in a retooled Nuggets locker room from which to soak it in.
Veteran point guard Jameer Nelson already is a mentor and friend. Name a player with years in the league, and Mudiay is more than ready to learn from him. His humble attitude in a red-hot spotlight has impressed his new teammates. Mudiay has been quick to deflect anything that resembles putting himself above the team.
“I’m just trying to learn from the old heads. Everything that they can feed off, I’m going to just take it in,” Mudiay said. “That’s just what I’m going to do because they’re going to help me be me, if that makes sense. That’s how I look at it.”
