In some very sad news coming out today, former Baylor forward and possible NBA Draft prospect Isaiah Austin learned he has the rare disorder Marfan Syndrome which will force him to walk away from basketball. Fellow NBA Draft prospect Joel Embiid is dealing with his own injury issues before getting a chance to have his name called, but still sent out some good will to his former Big-12 rival. Our hearts go out to you Isaiah, know there will always be a place in basketball for you whether you’re playing or not.
