NEW ORLEANS — All-Star forward Anthony Davis, who had 36 and 40 points in successive games for the New Orleans Pelicans, missed Wednesday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors with an upper respiratory infection.

Davis is coming off career highs of 40 points and 21 rebounds in a victory over the Boston Celtics on Sunday.

Davis leads the team with 21.4 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game.
