Kiwi hooper Corey Webster’s dream of playing in the NBA took a significant step forward today when he was invited to attend training camp for the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Breaker and New Zealand representative has clearly made an impression on the Pelicans coaching staff in his three days training with the side, the inclusion a sign that they believe he has a genuine opportunity to make the final squad.
“I am not there yet but this is another positive step towards my dream of playing in the NBA,” Webster said.
