New Orleans Pelicans rookie point guard Russ Smith apparently has been impressive enough in summer league mini camp practices this week that he’s been extended a guaranteed contract offer.
In an audio recording posted on the University of Louisville’s official athletic website, Cardinals coach Rick Pitino said Smith has a guaranteed contract committed from the Pelicans.
