And sure enough, there he (Thunder GM Sam Presti) was on Thursday, echoing that same “don’t panic” approach as the (Reggie) Jackson questions rolled in at his annual preseason press conference.
“We want to invest in Reggie,” Presti stated firmly. “There’s not a lack of clarity in that regard.”
“I think we’ve been pretty clear about his importance to the team,” Presti said of Jackson. “We see him as a core member of the team, a core member of the organization.”
As for another preseason trade?
“That’s just not something we’ve considered,” Presti said. “He’s a guy we see being here for a long time.”
