Getting the 12:30 p.m. game to tip off the NBA playoffs for a third straight year isn’t sitting well with Raptors head coach Dwane Casey.
“Not my first choice … We’d prefer not to be just because from a competitive advantage, you have a little bit more time to prepare playing a later game,” Casey said Thursday.
“You’re more in your rhythm or whatever it is. But again, it is what it is. We gotta accept it, go with it, prepare to get ready for the 12:30, get our minds and body ready for that time of start.”
