Unable to land a contract in the NBA this season, free agent small forward Lamar Odom reportedly is set to join a team in Spain.

According to David Pick of Eurobasket.com and Mark Stein of ESPN.com, the former Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers player agreed to a deal with Laboral Kutxa in Vitoria, Spain.

Odom, 34, plans to finish the current season with his new team, Stein reported.

Odom made headlines during a tumultuous summer that included an arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence and drug allegations. He pleaded no contest to the DUI charge in December and received probation. Odom also divorced reality television star Khloe Kardashian in December.

Last season, Odom averaged 4.0 points — the lowest mark of his 14-year career — and 5.9 rebounds in 82 games for the Clippers. He managed just 6.6 points per game for the Dallas Mavericks in 2011-12.

Odom spent his first four seasons with the Clippers before spending a year with the Dallas Mavericks. He spent 2004-05 to 2010-11 with the Lakers, earning NBA championship rings in 2009 and 2010.

For his career, Odom averaged 13.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
