According to a source with knowledge of the situation, the Houston Rockets are considering signing 16-year veteran forward Al Harrington, who was recently cut in China in order to allow him to pursue a NBA return. Harrington played 34 games for the Washington Wizards last season, averaging 6.6 points and 2.2 rebounds. With great experience and versatility, he could be an ideal fit on the Rockets’ frontline as they await Terrence Jones’ return from a nerve issue in his left leg.
