Sources: Luke Babbitt, Hawks Agree to One-Year Deal
Free-agent forward Luke Babbitt has agreed to a one-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks, league sources told ESPN.
Babbitt, 28, started 55 games for the Miami Heat last season, playing a significant part in the team’s second-half surge to the cusp of the playoffs.
Babbitt has played seven NBA seasons, including three years each with Portland and New Orleans. He’s averaged 4.7 points for his career.
Babbitt was the 16th overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft out of Nevada-Reno.
