Sources: Suns Remove Triano from Head Coach Consideration

The Phoenix Suns have removed Jay Triano from consideration for its head-coaching position, sources told ESPN’s Chris Haynes.
Triano served as the team’s interim head coach after Earl Watson was fired three games into the season.
Assistant coach Ty Corbin has also been relieved of his duties.
The Suns went 21-61 this season and have the best odds of ending up with the No. 1 overall pick (25 percent) and a 64.2 percent chance of landing a top-three pick.

Blazers beat a crowded field for Kanter, including the Lakers, per sources. Kanter is an important addition for Blazers, where he’ll play a good share of minutes. Portland signed Kanter to a $70M offer sheet in 2015, which OKC matched.
