(Derrick) Rose’s meniscus is expected to be rehabilitated enough to allow him to participate in this summer’s USA Basketball minicamp that will decide the roster for the FIBA World Cup in Spain in September. Rose, USA Basketball officials and Bulls’ management all support his participation.
“Oh absolutely, if he’s healthy and he’s cleared,” Thibodeau said, when asked if he would like to see Rose play. “I thought it was a great experience for him before. I know he would like to do it. I know how USA Basketball feels about him.”
