Stony Brook scored the final 10 points of the game and handed No. 13 Washington its first loss of the season, 62-57 Sunday in Seattle.
The Huskies (11-1) led 49-34 with 12:37 to play, and Washington was still in front 57-52 with 3:41 left.
After a layup by forward Rayshaun McGrew, and a 3-pointer guard Carson Puriefoy tied the game with 1:08 left. Forward Jameel Warney’s jumper with 34 seconds remaining gave the Seawolves the lead, and Stony Brook made three of four foul shots in the final seconds.
Warney scored a game-high 15 points for Stony Brook (8-6). Guard Kameron Mitchell added 12 points, and McGrew contributed 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Center Robert Upshaw and guard Nigel Williams-Goss scored 10 points apiece for the Huskies.
No. 6 Wisconsin 68, Buffalo 56
Forward Frank Kamisnky scored 25 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, and the Badgers defeated the Bulls in Madison, Wis.
Forward Sam Dekker added 13 points for Wisconsin (12-1).
Buffalo (7-3) led 27-26 at halftime, but Kaminsky scored nine points in a 20-7 run to start the second half. Forward Justin Moss paced the Bulls with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Guard Sir’Dominic Pointer had a career-high 24 points to go along with a career-high seven steals, four rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots to help St. John’s roll past Tulane in the first game of the Brooklyn Hoops Winter Festival Tripleheader at the Barclays Center.
The Red Storm won their seventh straight game and are 11-1 for the first time since the 1985-86 season, then they finished 31-5.
Guard D’Angelo Harrison scored 21 points and became St. John’s fourth all-time leading scorer with 1,829 points. Guard Jonathan Stark had 15 points for Tulane (9-3).
No. 23 Northern Iowa 74, South Dakota State 63
Northern Iowa’s reserves outscored the team’s starters again in the Panthers’ nonconference victory in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Forward Nate Buss scored 14 points off the bench, and the Panthers got 45 points from their reserves.
Northern Iowa took control with a 13-0 run late in the first half. The Jackrabbits closed to within five points with 6:11 left in the game before the Panthers (11-1)pulled away at the end to improve to 6-0 at home.
South Dakota State (9-5) dropped its second straight game against a ranked opponent, after a loss to No. 14 Utah 80-66 on Tuesday.
