The Utah Jazz may be willing to take on the salary of Carlos Boozer or Jeremy Lin this offseason, presumably not to help Chicago or Houston clear cap space, but to return some assets along with these players and their cap-clogging deals.

Last year, the Utah Jazz had no problem helping teams in need of cap space clear big salaries as long as they were willing to send draft picks along with the albatross contracts. The same could be true this summer and Chicago and Houston look to accommodate the signing of a major free agent like Carmelo Anthony.
