Van Gundy: Meeks Returning Next Week Unlikely
Jodie Meeks was expected back next week but Detroit Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy said he is resigned to a longer rehabilitation timetable for the guard and added it could be February before the team’s highest-priced 2014 free agent is up to speed.
Van Gundy said he still hopes to have Meeks before Christmas but returning next week would be “a big, big stretch.”
