Walter Tavares Has 7’10 Wingspan
Cape Verde big man prospect Walter Tavares measured in with a 7’10 wingspan, according to sources, which gives him the second longest wingspan ever measured in the NBA. Tavares, who is 7’3, is a second-round candidate who has the flexibility in his contract overseas to come to the NBA next year, but will likely stay overseas for one more season to further prepare himself for the leap. The 22-year-old has only been playing basketball for a few years.
