Wizards’ Gooden Looking to Return to Action
A left hamstring strain has slowed down Drew Gooden in the preseason as the 6-10 forward-center has appeared just once. Wednesday, when the Wizards play vs. Israeli team Maccabi Haifa, he should be back on the court.
Gooden worked out fully Tuesday and didn’t appear to have any residual issues at Wednesday’s session. Asked by CSNwashington.com if he’d play, he said, “I’m going to try it out” as he headed to the locker room.
