Anthony Davis ‘Going After’ MVP in All-Star Game
Shortly after Anthony Davis was announced as a starter for the Feb. 19 NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans, he made it known to Charles Barkley, Shaq and Kenny Smith on the NBA Tip-off show what his top objective will be for the game.
”I’m definitely going after trying to get MVP, especially here in New Orleans,” Davis said during the show Thursday night shortly after the 10 starters were announced. ”Coach Gentry told me every time I catch it, put it up. So I’m going to go out there and represent the city and try to walk away with that MVP for sure.”
