Anthony Davis missed his second straight game with a lower back contusion. The New Orleans Pelicans lost 95-91 to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday at Staples Center.
Davis sustained the injury Friday in the first quarter of a home loss to the Indiana Pacers. He leapt over the first row of fans in an effort to save the ball from heading out of bounds, and he landed hard on his back. X-rays taken soon after the game came back negative.
