Bucks center Larry Sanders (6-11, 235) underwent successful surgery yesterday to repair right orbital bone fractures which he sustained in the Feb. 8 game vs. Houston, General Manager John Hammond announced today.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Gerald J. Harris at the Eye Institute of the Medical College of Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital. Sanders will be sidelined for a minimum of six weeks and further updates will be provided when appropriate.

In 23 games (20 starts) this season, Sanders has averaged 7.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots in 25.4 minutes per contest.
