Celtics’ Turner to Miss Game With Eye Abrasion
Boston Celtics swingman Evan Turner did not practice Tuesday and will sit out Wednesday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans because of a left eye abrasion, according to coach Brad Stevens.
Turner suffered the injury with 15 seconds remaining in Sunday’s victory over the Los Angeles Lakers and underwent a reevaluation Monday that confirmed it was merely an abrasion. Stevens said the team will exercise caution with bringing Turner back.
