Wizards center Marcin Gortat has traveled home to Poland because of a family emergency and will miss at least the next two games.
Gortat missed Friday’s 109-106 win over the Phoenix Suns and will be absent from Sunday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. Wizards coach Randy Wittman said he didn’t know whether Gortat would miss additional time.
